Fast Switch, Ltd. was incorporated in December of 1996. From day one, the objective of the company was to fill the gaps and do the things others refuse to do that were in the best interest of long-term relationships and partnerships between Fast Switch and its clients. Most importantly, this included:
- Building the company on “The Dell Model”: build to order; virtual; timely; highly networked.
- Committing to honesty and integrity in everything we do, with everyone involved in our business: clients, suppliers, employees, all stakeholders, demonstrating and living this commitment every day, as often as possible, in actions, not words. If we make a mistake, we live up to it, admit it, and fix it completely and as soon as possible.
- Providing what others either refuse to provide, or can’t provide, but what clients need and want badly. A drive to be more creative than any other IT services firm – both in our consulting (agency) and direct hire (executive recruiting) lines of businesses.
- Committing to provide extraordinary service, while always managing expectations to the upside. In other words, surprise people by over-performing instead of disappointing them by not delivering on commitments.
- Committing to provide guarantees for our work longer than required by our clients – and make them full money back guarantees without question, prorating, or qualification.
- Committing to be true to ourselves and to test and measure our business to provide an objective, metrics-based foundation from which to make decisions on improving and changing our business. No shooting from the hip and no management style du jour.
- Committing to really do what is in the client’s long-term best interest, not just talk about it. Subscribe to the mantra that, “Whatever is in the client’s best interest is in Fast Switch’s long term best interest as a supplier to the client.”
- Committing to hire the best and brightest, pay them more than fairly, give them the environment they need to excel, provide the management systems that allow them to self manage, and then get out of their way and let them exceed expectations.
- Committing to run a no overhead operation with self discipline, where money typically wasted on ego items is spent on employee salaries, benefits and client relationships rather than spent on things like expensive, glitzy brochures that get swept aside or thrown away.

- Our clients include large, medium, and small companies primarily in Ohio and Michigan, although we perform executive search services nationwide. Clients include 2 of the Fortune 10, 4 of the Fortune 20, 22 of the Fortune 500, and 25 of the Fortune 1,000. We are able to satisfy the needs of any client nationwide.
- Our recruiter and account manager turnover for 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 is 0%. We focus our time on our clients instead of training/retraining new staff.
